Returning one time, she plopped her water bottle on the table next to us as she plopped down into a chair to take our order. We picked out five wines to sample at $20 per person (there were 4 of us) but not before our server left multiple times to get her water bottle and answer her phone. Then we were asked to describe the types of wine we liked best the server recommended wines to sample from their list. We were told to sit wherever we liked with a wave of a hand toward a general seating area. No one bothered to describe what the evening would entail. If we hadn’t had the gift certificate, we would have left. She also bragged that she had worked in construction and could tell us stories that would make us vomit. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our server swinging herself from around a wall divider and giggling that she was drunk. We were going for a “wine adoption” evening meaning you buy wine that is already made. We were given a gift certificate for $250 so we made reservations for 7:00 on a weeknight. Our experience at Camelot Cellars was awful.
